The Emperor's Pipe by malloryspipes The Emperor's Pipe by malloryspipes
Wow. This was fun to make to say the least! it's made for a friend of mine who has this god complex and calls himself the Emperor.

I actually was making a completely different pipe, for the tutorial I'm working on (I'll link to it from here once its complete of course) and some how this magically happened. I love it WAY to much... even if it is a bit awkward... I wanted to go into more detail with the back bones, but my white clay supply was... limited. I'm fairly out of clay due to other projects *sigh* Glazing also was hellish as my glaze dried up in the SEALED bottle! and yeah, I need cash soon so i can make a craft store run...

The fine details:
lenght: 7inches (counting the curve)
Height: 1 1/2 inches at highest spike, 1/2 inch at lowest spot.
Width: 1 1/2 inches from side to side of bowl
Materials: Ploymer clay, acyrlic paint, glaze and LOVE

*This pipe is non-working* Well, it works, but since the bowl is made of Polymer clay which could possibly melt, it's technically a hazard to smoke out of. I'm outfiting my newer pipes with metal bowls now to fix this problem. (The Emperor already stated he'll never smoke out of it, as it is too awesome to ruin)

Do you use coloured clay or paint it after?
